"I'm telling you there's an enemy that would like to attack America, Americans, again. There just is. That's the reality of the world. And I wish him all the very best." -George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Jan. 12, 2009
In this exciting entry of Curious George, I am going to talk about certain people using the term stupid when describing Mr. W. As you can tell by most of the famous Bush quotes, Geroge is not the best public speaker in the world. But, public speaking is not a measure of a man's intelligence. He is absolutely not stupid. George W. Bush graduated from YALE with HONORS. That doesnt sound like something that a "stupid" person could achieve. People may not like the decisions that he made because they think that he created an economic crisis. What everyone overlooks is what he prevented. How many times were we attacked during the Bush administration after september eleventh 2001? The answer is ZERO! Terrorists understood that Bush had experience and knew how to take controll of the matter at hand and keep America safe. Successful attempts to attack America didn't begin again until this year. Nothing against our current president but he doesn't understand how to crack down on security like Bush did. With the economy his main focus, a Nigerian extremist was nearly able to terrorize America. While this is not president Obama's fault, Alkaida and other organizations realize that he will not put full effort into anti-terror tactics as Bush did. I am not a political analist. This is simply food for thought from someone who doesn't understand why America fully embraces a president for seven years, but throws them to the curb during their last year of office. That's pretty "stupid" of you, America.

It is sad that for some, intelligence IS measured, fairly or not, by public speaking skills. A good reason to learn those skills in your English class, right????
